Welcome To Dreams By Annie
Artisian, Hand Crafted, OOAK - One Of A Kind, Hand Sculpted Dolls In Polymer Clay - 1:12 Dollhouse and Larger
Hi, my name is Annie Ross, better known as Dreams By Annie. It was sometime late 2003 when I got my start in sculpting. I started as a collector and turned sculptress. I worked with many different types of figures and in later 2006 I found some roots in miniatures. I still look to create something new and unsual and even larger scale faeries now and then just to break things up. I have recently desided to play with making a couple of beds. My husband and I have jumped back into dollhouses and room boxes so you will see some of this as well.
Keep yours eye out for things coming soon!
What You Need To Know!!!
Nearly all dolls that I create are nude! Please do not page through my site if nudity offends you. I work with the human body, I am not a fashion designer. I was not gifted with both talents.
Look for new and upcoming dollhouses and room boxes by Eric Ross
Eric has worked hard to make room boxes for me while I sculpted little people to put in them. Now that the show is over he has decided to do some of his own creating! I think we are in a bit of a competition right now actually! LOL! Who can do the biggest and the best! So keep an eye out for Eric here. I'm sure he is going to come out on top with this one.
Customizing In Progress!
I was talked into doing a new and improved website so I'm giving it my best. This is also not one of my talented areas! LOL! But I do plan to add a few new things on the site. There will be photos from 3 or 4 other shows as well as the Chicago International at the Three Blind Mice. I intend to give my husband a page just for his own creations. He has been very supportive of me through the shows and custom orders as well as the house that doesn't get cleaned or dishes that don't get done! LOL! This is because I do also work a full-time job so time for ME is a premiun!
What's Coming Up
I thought I should make it known that I don't intend to do shows much anymore, as if I have done alot! 4 mini shows under my belt in all this time. I am considering Dayton or Nashville in 2011. But if I do go I am not planning anything beyond that. I think we are slowing down. I have to also admit that all of the traveling is not worth the cost. The only thing I truely get out of going is seeing all of the people I love and adore!!
I work in the corrections field full-time and have a home and husband to care for and when I in decide to do a show everything is thrown to the side until all of the pieces are made and by then catching up again is nearly impossible. I don't deal well with stress and in this case I have it going in and coming out. I do so much better just selling on line but now and then it is nice to meet the people that collect my work.
I am more than happy to take orders from anyone that is interested in a particular piece. I never asked for a deposit in the past but after a bite or two in the butt I have to do so now. Cost always depends on the project so contact me and we'll talk it over!! I always look forward to talking to others!!
